Jono & Nats have been regenerative farming on Djaara Country, 148 acres in Blampied Vic since 2012. Running a breeding herd of Rarebreed British White Cattle & Berkshire Pigs for their award winning paddock to plate produce.
Through out the years they have adopted many regenerative farming practices learnt from Dr Christine Jones, Nicole Masters, Graham Hand, Colin Seis & Dick Richardson as well as a 4 year forage cover crop trial with North Central Catchment Management Authority & Central Victorian Regenerative Farmers.
The day will start with morning tea and a brief introduction then a walk around the farm, followed by a casual lunch of Brooklands produce.
Open to fellow farmers or those that want to learn more about regenerative farming and where/how regenerative produce is grown with a focus on soil health & whole biodiversity.
Places are limited - more details will be emailed to those that have booked with regards to dietry requirements, parking & what to bring on the day.
